Membership is open to all Tibetans who are residents of Northern California and their non-Tibetan spouses. The annual membership contribution, for those who are 18 and above, is $15.00 per person. The membership dues must be cleared before the end of July each year.

 

The Tibetan Association of Northern California issues recomemdation letters to bona fide Tibetans and to its members. There are a few criterions to be met before such letters are issued.

The person requesting the letter should be a member of the Tibetan Association of Northern California with all membership dues paid.

The person also should bring a copy of the receipt of his/her Tibetan Voluntary Contribution (Gyal-Che-Ma-Ngul) paid to the local Tibetan Green Book official. (Currently, TANC Vice President)

For new TANC members, a new two year membership card will be issued with the payment of 30 dollars (check should be made payable to TANC), we will not accept cash.

Please understand that the TANC Board member issuing this letter works voluntarily in addition to his/her own job for a living and as such, a preparation time of atleast 3 days is a must.
