This year, the Scholarship Committee reviewed the highest number of applications it has ever received. Of those applicants, 27 students were awarded the Betsy Gordon Foundation x TANC Scholarship this year. With the Betsy Gordon Foundation’s generous support, members of the Tibetan Association of Northern California were able to receive the financial support they needed to continue their education. The TANC Scholarship Committee believes that educational investment allows the possibility for individuals and their families to have financial stability and better position the Tibetan community to serve others.

The TANC board would like to thank Ms. Nyima Tsamchoe la and Ms. Sonam Tso la for their their leadership throughout the scholarship process. Finally we would like show our utmost gratitude to the Betsy Gordon Foundation for their continued support of Tibetan students.
